October 12, 2023 – Rochester, NY – Eastview announces the opening of Warby Parker, a trendy prescription glasses, contact lenses, and sunglasses retailer. To celebrate their Grand Opening on Saturday, October 14th, shoppers will receive a free, custom Warby Parker tote bag with any eyewear purchase, while supplies last.
Eastview Mall is the only Warby Parker location in Western New York; the new 2,185 sq ft store is in Center Court, adjacent to Starbucks. Since opening their doors on Wednesday, October 11, Warby Parker marks the fifth new store to open at Eastview in 2023; three additional merchants are still anticipated as ‘coming soon’ including Barnes & Noble.
Founded in 2010 as an online retailer, Warby Parker has begun branching out into brick-and-mortar spaces, creating in-person experiences including eye exams. Beginning as a start-up, through experience, innovation, and engagement, Warby Parker has created a shopping environment that leaves customers happy and looking good, with money in their pocket; prices start at just $95, including prescriptions. Warby Parker philanthropic efforts include the ‘Buy a Pair, Give a Pair” program where for every pair sold, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need.
