Event YEA! Trade Show

Local middle and high school students from the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) at Golisano Institute Class of 2024 will reveal their new start-up businesses to the public and sell their products and services at the YEA! Trade Show.

SATURDAY, JUNE 1

10AM – 12PM

CROSS COURT (outside Shoe Dept) 

The presentation is a culmination of 30 weeks of hard work, resulting in the graduates owning and operating their own businesses. YEA! students are taught by local entrepreneurs and are introduced to guest lecturers, successful entrepreneurs, and business mentors. They brainstorm ideas, write business plans then launch their own company or social movement. YEA!’s academic year runs from October to June, with classes meeting every Tuesday from 4:00PM – 7:00PM at Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. The program is now currently accepting applications for next year’s YEA! class of 2025.

 

YEA! is a groundbreaking program that takes students ages 11 to 18 through the process of starting and launching a real business or social movement over the course of an academic year. Students brainstorm business ideas, write business plans, pitch to investors for startup funding, register their companies with governmental agencies, and launch their own business or social movement.
